Rimini, 18th March 2011 - Rimini Fiera SpA, headed by chairman Lorenzo Cagnoni and general manager Piero Venturelli, has traded with a leading role on the domestic and international markets for over 60 years. Rimini Fiera SpA´s corporate structure's public shareholders are Rimini Provincial Government, Rimini Municipality and Rimini Chamber of Commerce, (each with 26.44% of the company shares), while Emilia Romagna Regional Government has 5.80% of the shares; the remaining 14.88% of the capital is held by private shareholders (Promotor International; King SpA; Impregilo Edilizia SpA; Fierainvest Srl; Banca Opi; AIA Ass. CONFERENCES
The Rimini´s new Palacongressi conference centre (www.riminipalacongressi.it) stands on the site that once hosted the old Rimini expo centre. Designed by Hamburg´s GMP and built from scratch by Società del Palazzo dei Congressi di Rimini, it stands in an area of 38,000 square metres and has an overall capacity of 9,300. The venue is complete by a service area, restaurants and eateries and underground parking facilities for 500 cars.
